Denver is full of outdoor festivals this weekend, including
both the Larimer Square Peachy Sidewalk Sale as well as the first annual
Cheesman Park Art Fest. The Larimer Square Sidewalk sale was “just peachy,”
featuring free and fresh Western Slope Colorado peaches for the sale shoppers.
All the Larimer Square merchants opened their doors, and popped up tents full
of sale merchandise up to 70% off. The event lasts from 10:00am until 7:00 pm
tonight, and carry into tomorrow, Sunday July 28th. Larimer square is
one of my favorite streets in Denver, so what better way to experience it with
a little shopping and fresh peaches?
The Cheesman Park Art Fest is another family-friendly
weekend activity that lasts until tomorrow as well. The festival features art
of all mediums from artists all over the country. As you walk, you can enjoy
food from the local food trucks as well as the ongoing performances from
acoustic street performers.
I love Denver
Happy weekend...
