Denver Restaurant Review: Linger

Every Friday night, one Frantz family member chooses a restaurant to eat at on a rotating basis. Tonight was my choice, so I chose Linger. Linger is an old mortuary building in the Highlands, which Justin Cucci transformed into one of Denver’s best restaurants. Olinger, as it was formerly known, is a multi-story building with spectacular views of down town Denver. The main restaurant space (once a hearse garage) is chic with dim lighting and intimate booths. If making a reservation over a month in advance isn’t your style, then at least grab a drink at the roof top bar and enjoy the sweeping views of Denver’s urban life.

Linger’s scene isn’t the only thing to rave about. The small plates of “street food” are unique and healthy, while appealing to both the vegetarian and the steak lover- (see menu here). No need to make up your mind on what you want, the plates are meant for sharing. Book your reservations in advance, it's well worth the wait...
